This is a full-time Master's programme, focusing on trade and investment law from an African perspective. The programme is offered in partnership with the University of the Western Cape (UWC), the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and the American University Washington College of Law in Washington DC.
The first semester intakes alternate between the University of the Western Cape and the University of Pretoria. Students spend the first semester in South Africa and then have the option of spending the second semester at one of the overseas partners. Internships are also arranged for the students. Limited scholarships are available.
