African Law Faculties are cordially invited to participate in the 8th Annual African Trade Moot which will be held at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, from 3  - 7 October 2011.

The Annual African Trade Moot is a joint initiative of the University of the Western Cape and the University of Pretoria with the support of the WTO. The competition is a unique opportunity for students from English speaking African Countries to engage in topical trade issues related to international trade law as argued before the WTO Trade Dispute Settlement Body. Ideally, a team should consist of one law and one economics student.

It is strongly advised that the group shall preferably be accompanied by a member of your faculty who participated in the African Trade Moot over the last few years, or who has similar experience in the field of International Trade Law.
