The South African Human Rights Commission, in collaboration with the Department of Education, The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, cordially invite student volunteers at the University of Pretoria, whohave experience in mooting to apply to be a marker of essays in the central marking process for the National School Moot Court Programme.

The marking will be held on Saturday, 5 August 2023 from 09:00 - 16:30 at the offices of the South African Human Rights Commission in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

This opening is particularly for:

  • A final year or post graduate student
  • a tutor, or a teaching assistant with proficient mooting knowledge.

If required, transport will be organised for the selected markers from the University of Pretoria to the Human Rights Commission and back. The South African Human Rights Commission will also provide, Lunch and stationery.
