Previous experience
Attended a short course for 2 weeks called Mental Disability Law in Practice at the Central European University during 2012 Summer School in Budapest - Hungary. I have done some work around psychosocial and intellectual disabilities where I was involved in a research to understand the interaction between persons with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities and the criminal justice system in Zambia. I have been working with paralegals, disability self-advocates and law enforcement officials to raise awareness on disability rights through trainings. I am a fellow at the Access to Justice Knowledge Hub and a member of the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD).
