Florence Achieng Otieno

Florence Otieno is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a fellow of the East Africa Emerging Public Interest Advocates Programme, a Board Member of the Young Women Leadership Institute- Kenya and the Institute of Public Finance Kenya and a member of the International Commission of Jurists-Kenya Section. She holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law. Florence currently works at the Centre for Rights Education and Awareness Kenya (CREAW) as a project lawyer. Florence looks forward to enhancing her knowledge and practical skills in the human rights field and she strongly believes that obtaining a masters degree in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa (HRDA) will deepen her understanding of human rights and help her in influencing policies and laws and also assist her into taking actions that bring positive changes in society.
