The video is part of an advocacy project undertaken by the Centre for Human Rights in collaboration with its partner, the Amhara Association of America, addressing the plight of ethnic Amhara residents living in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia.

The video seeks to raise awareness of the alarming, repetitive and ethnically motivated massacres of Amharas in the Oromia region by both state and non-state actors. It calls on the Ethiopian government to be bound by its duty to respect and ensure respect for its citizens' rights as provided under the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights while calling on human rights organisations and faith-based institutions to work toward finding solutions to this long-standing problem.
