On 8 October 2026, the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria welcomed a representative of the Institute of Human Rights at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vietnam, for a constructive exchange on human rights education, research and institutional cooperation.
The meeting, facilitated through the Embassy of Vietnam, provided an opportunity for both institutions to share insights into their work, discuss areas of mutual interest and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
The engagement reflects the importance of international academic partnerships in advancing human rights scholarship, strengthening institutional relationships and promoting the exchange of knowledge and perspectives across regions.
