Khonjelwayo Samukelisiwe

Country of origin: Newcastle, South Africa
Qualification: LLB, University of Free State, South Africa
Background: I recently obtained my Bachelor of Laws qualification at the University of Free State. During my undergraduate years, I was appointed as the secretary for Student Fellowship, a cultural and religious organization. Apart from our religious focus, we actively engaged in different awareness campaigns aimed at the most vulnerable groups in society, such as children and women. I am interested in human rights, specifically socio-economic rights. I strongly desire to contribute to the implementation of these rights in the social context and end poverty and inequality through social change.
