The pro-bono International Human Rights Clinic at the Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice (UK) is accepting submissions from human rights activists who would like assistance filing a case before the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights.

The Clinic is run by Dr. Rebecca Wright, a criminal barrister and international human rights lawyer who formally ran the North African Litigation Initiative (NALI), based in Cairo. NALI brought a number of successful cases before the African Commission against North African states.

If you have a potential case against an African state involving a violation of the African Charter (see here), and if you have exhausted all domestic remedies (or domestic remedies do not exist), then please contact Dr. Wright on rebecca.wright@shu.ac.uk

We would be delighted to discuss your case and provide legal and research assistance. We are unfortunately only able to work in English.
