Dr. Primrose E.R Kurasha is an International Law Expert who holds her professional certification from the International Court of Justice's Hague Academy of International Law. Her other professional certificates are from the University of Salzburg, Austria, the Pretoria Bar of Advocates and the Centre for Human Rights. Dr. Kurasha has also served as a board member.

She holds an LLD (Doctor of Laws) in Private International Law from the University of Pretoria, which is where she also completed her other degrees namely, a BA Law (majoring in International Relations), an LLB and an LLM in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa.

Dr. Kurasha's research teaching is centred around the interaction of trans-national business and human rights, specifically with regard to the human rights implications of establishing an independent international commercial court in South Africa for the resolution of cross-border/trans-national commercial disputes.

Dr. Kurasha has also plied her trade in legal practice, as she worked at DMH Commercial Law Chambers, a leading commercial law firm on the African continent, which is based in Harare, Zimbabwe.  Dr. Kurasha’s legal expertise goes beyond the corporate world as she also served the under-privileged community working on pro-bono cases for the University of Cape Town Law Clinic, based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Dr. Kurasha has to date published numerous articles and law review journals on the subjects of International commercial law, Private International Law and International Sports Law.  Her unique skillset in research and publication saw her appointed as the Research Officer in the Dean’s office of the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Law from 2018 -2021.  This same unique skillset saw her break records by being appointed as the youngest ever Board Director of a Zimbabwe Stock Exchange Listed company, Zimpapers, at the age of 27.  Her bold advocacy for human rights shone when she served her nation in this position.  Her sense of justice also landed her a one-year stint at the Constitutional Court of South Africa as a Foreign Law Clerk to two Justices of the Constitutional Court.  Dr. Kurasha was chosen as one of the most promising young leaders on the African continent who were privileged enough to meet and engage with the global stateswoman, Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany.  Dr Kurasha has presented at various conferences and Memorial Lectures in the Hague, Netherlands and in South Africa.

Dr. Kurasha is a recipient of numerous honours and awards namely: The Hague Academy of International Law Scholarship; Special International Research Award; General Studentship Doctoral Scholarship; Tuks Scholarship Fund Bursary – awarded by the Vice Chancellor; NRF Incentive for Rated Research; Golden Key International Honour Society for outstanding academic performance; University of Pretoria Postgraduate Doctoral Research Bursary; University of Pretoria Postgraduate Doctoral Bursary; ABSA Bank Scholarship for an LLM in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa; Best mooter in the Law of Civil Procedure Moot Court with a mark of 90%; and the University of Pretoria’s Department of Political Science United Nations Quiz – 1st Runner Up.
