IPS programme for the African States 

The German Bundestag is inviting highly motivated graduates from South Africa, Namibia and Botswana to apply for its scholarship programme, IPS Programme for the African States, in January 2022 in Berlin, Germany. During an intensive four-week programme, eight participants from these countries will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the German parliamentary system and political decision-making. A one-week work placement in the office of a Member of the German Bundestag is a core element of the programme.

Gill Jacot Guillarmod Scholarship

In loving memory of Gill Jacot Guillarmod, Senior Project Manager and Liaison Officer of the Centre for Human Rights from 1 May 2001 to 15 January 2010, in deep appreciation for her role to the academic and other programmes of the Centre, and in recognition of her humanity and humour, which left a profound impression on everyone whose lives touched hers, the Centre for Human Rights in 2010 established the Gill Jacot Guillarmod Scholarship.
