Emmanuel holds a B.A in Social Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi (Ghana), an LLB from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Accra (Ghana) and a Professional Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law. Emmanuel is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He has benefited from numerous training programs both local and International in the field of Investment Promotion and Facilitation such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Academy of International Business Organization (AIBO) among others. Prior to the program, Emmanuel worked with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) for over thirteen years’ rising through the ranks to Principal Investment Promotion Officer with experience in investment promotion and facilitation. Emmanuel is part of a team responsible for negotiating Bilateral Investment Treaties, providing legal advice and support on investment matters to GIPC management and staff, GIPC’s stakeholders, current and prospective investors, reviews and registers Technology Transfer Agreements. Emmanuel has participated extensively in local and international forum on Foreign Direct Investments and Investment promotions. His areas of interest include International Trade and Investment Law, Trade Finance, Intellectual Property Law, Commercial Law, Technology Transfer, Trade Facilitation, Regional Integration and Dispute Resolution Mechanisms.
