Previous experience
A Director of Mupeti Attorneys, he is a practicing attorney with over 10 years’ experience in corporate and commercial litigation, as well as human rights law, with experience in both the High Court and lower courts. He previously worked at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa and spent more than five years at one of South Africa’s largest law firms, Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr (CDH).
He is also a trained agricultural economist, bringing an interdisciplinary perspective to his legal practice. His work further extends to personal injury claims, deceased estates, and the drafting of wills.
He is a dedicated disability rights advocate, with governance experience serving on the boards of civil society and non-profit organisations within the disability movement, including Quadriplegic and Paraplegic Association of South Africa (QASA).
In addition, he is a freelance journalist whose work focuses on disability rights, human rights, inclusion, and development across Africa.
