The Centre for Human Rights has assisted and collaborated with multinational companies operating in the extractive industry sector by helping them meet human rights due diligence requirements. This includes conducting human rights awareness training and assisting with human rights policy analysis. The Centre has also developed company- and focus-specific materials for purposes of the above-mentioned sessions. The pilot project of this nature focused on human rights in the domestic and international context, and private security. It also included other workplace related elements, including cultural diversity training.
