Biography

Dr Ngobeni is an accomplished academic with interest in international economic law. He has several publications in this area. He is an academic at the Centre for Human Rights, where he teaches the LLM Trade and Investment Law in Africa (TILA), wherein he was a guest lecturer since 2019. He was previously at UNISA, NWU Monash and UNIZULU. Dr Ngobeni is on the editorial boards of the South African Yearbook of International Law (SAYIL) and Tydskrif vir Hedendaagse Romeins-Hollandse Reg /Journal of Contemporary Roman-Dutch Law (THRHR). He conducts peer reviews of manuscripts for various journals in the area of international economic law. He also supervises research and examines dissertations in this area for various institutions.
