The African Human Rights Law Reports contains legal decisions of relevance to human rights law in Africa. These include selected domestic decisions from the whole continent, as well as the decisions of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and the United Nations treaty bodies, dealing with African countries. The Reports are fully indexed, to facilitate access and make research easy.
2000
The first volume, 2000, published in July 2004, contains all cases decided by the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights from its inception until the end of 2000 as well as the earliest case from the UN Human Rights Committee concerning an African country.

2002
This volume contains cases on human rights decided by the UN Human Rights Committee and the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and 19 domestic judgments from 14 African countries.
2003
The volume contains cases on human rights decided by the UN Human Rights Committee, the Committee Against Torture, the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and ten human rights judgments from six African countries: Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Seychelles, South Africa and Tanzania.
2004
The volume contains cases on human rights decided by the UN Human Rights Committee, the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and 11 human rights judgments from nine African countries: Benin, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
2005
The sixth volume of the African Human Rights Law Reports covers the period up to the end of 2005. The Reports cover cases decided by the United Nations Human Rights Committee, the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and domestic judgments from different African countries.
