LLB Busoga Unoversity Uganda
Diploma in Community Development Kenya Institute of Social Work and Communtiy Development

Experience:
I have extensive 10 years of professional experience in children's rights, governance and campaigns/advocacy with international non governmental organisations.

Academic fields of interest:
My academic fields of interest are international human rights law, criminal law, constitutional law and transitional justice issues.
I have thus written articles on elections and human rights in Africa.

Position prior to the programme:
Before joining the programme, I was the Director of Policy and Advocacy at Save the Children International in South Sudan leading a national advocacy and campaign programme entitled 'Every Last Child Campaign.' I successfuly led ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child in the Republic of South Sudan through sustained advocacy and lobbying with Members of Parliament and civil society organisations. I also led a successful legal advocacy to file firstever public interest petition before the Supreme Court of the Republic of South Sudan seeking declaratory orders to end child marriage in South Sudan.
