Experience:
I have worked as an advocate for women and girls' empowerment by being a facilitator in Girls for Girls emancipation (GEM) an organization I co-found with a team of inspiring young women from five west African countries. In the Gambia I worked with many women rights focused organizations in the area of facilitating and organizing conferences and workshops for them. These organizations include Soropmtimist International, Conscience International and Better Africa Youth Initiative. In 2016 I did a nine months internship with the special mechanism for women's rights of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights in Banjul, The Gambia.

Academic fields of interest:
Women's rights, children's rights, policing and human rights and international public law
