The programme uniquely combines various disciplines of study to approach human rights discourse through the lens of various disciplines. With the benefit of a diverse lineup of experts from different fields, the program encourages students to understand human rights from social, cultural, scientific, political, artistic, and economic angles.
During the retreat, participants discussed a variety of research topics, including how Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) can undermine the rule of law, the importance of financial inclusion in promoting human rights, and the role of music as a powerful tool for capturing and communicating the human rights struggles of the 21st century.
