Corruption remains one of the most pressing challenges facing South Africa’s democracy, undermining public trust, governance, and service delivery. This briefing will present the latest findings from Afrobarometer’s 2025 South Africa survey, offering data-driven insights into citizens’ experiences and perceptions of corruption.
The session will bring together civil society actors, researchers, and policymakers to engage on the key drivers of corruption and explore practical, evidence-based strategies to strengthen accountability and governance.
