The Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, in collaboration with the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), cordially invite you to a Civil Society Forum, to be held on the sidelines of the upcoming PAP May Ordinary Session in Midrand, South Africa.
The Civil Society Forum will build upon the initial Civil Society Dialogue which was held on the sidelines of the PAP August 2018 Committee Sitting and is in line with the Memorandum of Understanding that was signed between PAP and the Centre.
The Forum, which targets Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from across the continent, aims to deepen reflections on the establishment of a PAP Civil Society Coalition and reflect on the key themes of the PAP Session. An ancillary aim is to examine ways in which CSOs can meaningfully engage with the PAP.
