The CSO Forum will deliberate on the AU 2019 theme ‘Year of Refugees, Returnees and IDPs: Towards Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa’, which came at a perfect time to urge leaders and civil society to act fast in protecting refugees, migrants displaced persons. The aim of the forum is to explore avenues for countering xenophobic violence in various parts of Africa, enhance protection for refugees in various parts of the continent and mobilise effectively in protecting displaced populations.
