The Master’s degree graduation ceremony of the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, is held annually on International Human Rights Day on 10 December. The event will be live streamed on YouTube.

This year, the 20th cohort of students completing their Master’s degrees in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa (HRDA) will graduate. Master’s degree students on the following programmes will also graduate during the Centre for Human Rights graduation ceremony: International Trade and Investment Law in Africa (TILA), Sexual and Reproductive Rights in Africa (SRRA) and Multi-disciplinary Human Rights (MDHR). Justice Zak Yacoob, former judge of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, will on this occasion receive an honorary doctorate degree.
