Applications are invited for the position of “Junior Graphic Designer” at the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria.
The position is a contract position for 20 hours a week. The starting date is as soon as possible, and the contract will run until the end of 2020. The salary is negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications. The “Junior Graphic Designer” will work as part of the Centre’s Communications and Advocacy department.
Responsibilities
The main responsibility of the “Junior Graphic Designer” is to work on the design and layout of flyers, invitations, brochures, posters, banners, book covers, campaigns and other marketing materials, for the various Units, programmes and projects in the Centre for Human Rights, and for the Pretoria University law Press (PULP).
Requirements
- A degree in graphic design, information design or relevant qualification
- Experience in graphic design
- Solid experience in the Adobe Creative Suite
Recommendations
- Experience in photography, video and animation
- Experience in web development
- Experience in social media marketing
- Relevant experience in the higher education sector
