About the programme
The LLM in Multidisciplinary Human Rights is a dynamic, two-year postgraduate programme offered by the Centre for Human Rights faculty of law, University of Pretoria. The LLM Multidisciplinary Human Rights uniquely combines various disciplines of study to approach human rights discourse. Instead of studying human rights from solely a legal perspective, the program encourages students to understand human rights from social, scientific, political and economic angles.
This programme is not only limited to law students but welcomes diverse academic backgrounds such as political science, international relations, development studies, arts and more.
Graduates emerge as skilled professionals ready to work in the fields of policy, advocacy, academia, international organizations, and civil society.
