The Centre for Human Rights of the University of Pretoria, invites you to a panel discussion addressing the conflict situation and human rights violations in Cameroon.
For four years, an armed insurgency in Anglophone Cameroon has opposed the Defence and Security Forces with non-state armed groups fighting for an independent state. This armed conflict has intensified progressively, characterised by acts of extreme violence involving non-armed civilians. The most serious of the resulting conditions are food insecurity, inadequate healthcare and reduced access to education.
