Experience:
I am a clinician and aspiring family medicine specialist, I have worked and acquired experience in both clinical and public health realms, I serve as Assistant Secretary with the Nigerian Medical Association, Gombe State. I recently completed a Master’s of Health Science in Reproductive Health as an African Union Scholar. With a passion for social justice, I take up voluntary causes through community organisation and civic engagements; I sit on the Youth Advisory Panel of the United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA-Nigeria working on the mandate of the UNFPA to amplify the voices and needs of youths in matters relating to sexual and reproductive health and rights. I have participated in many professional development training courses, earning skills and certifications including; Leadership and Management in Health, University of Washington; Sexual and Reproductive Health Research, Geneva Foundation; Family Planning Services for Clinicians, Fertility Research Institute and Monitoring and Evaluation of Reproductive Health Programs among others.

Prior to joining the Centre for Human Rights, I served as Medical Officer in charge of a Comprehensive Healthcare Centre owned by the Ministry of Health Gombe State, Nigeria
