I am an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Senior Social and Environmental (E&S) Consultant at IBIS Consulting (IBIS), an international emerging markets sustainable finance advisory firm. I have eight years of experience working on E&S matters in non-governmental organizations (NGOs), as a litigator and in the private sector. At IBIS, I provide technical E&S advisory to investors throughout the investment cycle, focusing on various sectors, including manufacturing, infrastructure, and agriculture, in the emerging markets across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. My clientele includes European development finance institutions, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and private equity funds. I hold a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Moi University in Kenya, a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development and Global Justice from the University of Antwerp in Belgium, and Postgraduate Training in Land Acquisition, Resettlement, and Social Sustainability from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
