Previous experience
Miracle Okoro holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nigeria. She was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court in 2018. She is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC).
Prior to joining the programme, she worked as a programme officer at the Centre for Trade and Business Environment Advocacy (CTBA), a top-tier think tank promoting business environment reforms in Nigeria and Africa. She is a proficient writer and rapporteur and has provided technical support for development organisations like the German Development Agency (GIZ).
She was selected to represent Nigeria in 2019 as an emerging young leader under the President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) Emerging Leaders Programme. She is also an alumna of the Trade Law Centre (TRALAC) She Governs Trade (SGT) Development Programme and the Global Trade Academy of the Institute of International Economic Law, Georgetown University.
