Phemelo completed his LLB in 2006 from the University of Limpopo, RSA. He then joined the military in 2007 and worked under the SA Army Intelligence Formation. Later on, he re-mustered to Defence Legal Service Division where he was assigned as a Military Prosecution Counsel. He was involved in a number of peacekeeping operations across the African continent. Between 2018 and 2020, he completed a Practical Legal Training course at Pretoria School for Legal Practice, did articles of clerkship, wrote and passed all attorneys admission exams. Between 2022 and 2023, he will be studying towards a Masters’ degree in Business Administration (MBA) with Regenesys Business School whereafter he will go into private practice. His primary focus is on Corporate Law and International Trade.
