Toolkit on civil society advocacy in the Pan-African Parliament
This Toolkit on CSO engagement with the PAP aims to familiarise civil society with the basics of the PAP and identifies potential areas for civil society engagement with the PAP by contributing to its policies, and provide a basis of engagement on negotiating new directions for governance on the continent.

Bien qu’elle soit appelée à jouer un rôle crucial dans les activités du Parlement panafricain, la société civile connaît encore très mal cette institution. Pour la plupart des organisations de la société civile, le PAP, et l’UA en général, restent pour ainsi dire invisibles et trop lointains pour qu’elles puissent y avoir accès ou les influencer. L’objectif du présent Guide pratique est de changer cet état de fait.

Apesar do seu papel potencialmente crucial nas actividades do PPA, a sociedade civil ainda sabe muito pouco sobre esta instituição. Para a maioria das OSCs, o PPA, bem como a UA duma maneira geral, são amplamente invisíveis e demasiado distantes para intervir ou exercer a sua influência na defesa dessas organizações. A presente Caixa de Ferramentas propõe-se mudar esse quadro.
