I was born in Western Kenya, lived in Nandi County, where I attended Primary and Secondary school education.

Experience:
I am currently working as National Coordinator of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for Adolescent and Youth under the Right Here Right Now Platform Kenya.
I previously worked at the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) as a Thematic Expert where I facilitated the evaluation of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights projects in Eastern Africa. I also worked as Programs Advisor at the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) under Equality and Non Discrimination programme where I worked on enhancement of participation of targeted marginalized groups in political governance.
In 2013 - 2014, I worked at Independent Medico-Legal Unit (IMLU), on Torture Prevention and Police Reforms. It coincided with the time Kenyan police was undergoing reforms at different levels including; institutional, legal frameworks and operational reforms. I joined the Network of African National Human Rights Institutions (NANHRI)2014 and 2016, I worked with National Human Rights Institutions in Africa, where I had the opportunity to gain experience in addressing systemic inequality and discrimination and marginalization among other gross human rights violations.
Academic fields of interest:
My main interest is in working on Political Governance, Equality, Non-Discrimination and inclusion, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights.
Position prior to the programme:
I work as a National Coordinator of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for Adolescent and Youth under the Right Here Right Now Platform Kenya.
