Experience:
I have been at the forefront of participatory democracy and a local governance practitioner and practised as a legislator at the district Assembly level in Ghana since 2015. I have served as CEO of RID Project, a registered local Non-Governmental Organization that specializing in sexual and reproductive health service delivery and rights guarantee, women empowerment and Persons With Disability health research advocacy in Ghana. Professionally, I serve as the Senior Programme Officer for Childbirth Survival International (CSI) in Ghana and Nigeria, an international NGO operating in the USA and seven other countries in Africa. I consider myself to be a medical sociologist and a passionate demand driven and implementation science, researcher. I lead multi-national research collaborations as a Principal Investigator on nationwide child welfare mapping study funded by UNICEF, onchocerciasis eradication funded by DANIDA and pediatric fractures funded AO Alliance, Switzerland. I have interest in multi-country research collaboration and look forward to collaborating with others with similar interest, particularly sexuality and reproductive rights of Persons With Disabilities.
