Mhleli holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of South Africa and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Johannesburg. He has completed the Practical Legal Training with the University of Cape Town Law School, a Professional Certificate in International Trade with the University of Adelaide (Australia) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law with the University of Johannesburg. He is currently working as a Senior Investigator at the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa. His previous experience includes working as a Customs Inspector/Investigator, a Legal Advisor and a Specialist Investigator for the South African Revenue Services. His area of interest is International Trade and Investment Law, International Tax Law and Dispute Resolution
