Sive holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the Nelson R Mandela School of Law, University of Fort Hare (UFH). Before joining the TILA LLM Programme, Sive worked as tutor at the Nelson R Mandela School of Law responsible for Law of Persons and Juridical Interpretation. In 2019, he worked as a legal intern at Adams & Adams in Pretoria. He also volunteered in the following organisations: Team Lee South Africa, UFH Enactus, UFH Paralegals. From 2019 – 2020, Sive served as Institutional Academic Officer for the Black Management Forum UFH as well as the Secretary-General of the Consumer Law Student Chapter (UFH). He is the winner of the 2018 UFH Junior Moot Court. In 2020, Sive was appointed as one of the Fort Hare Delegates to raise consumer rights awareness during World Consumer Rights Week. His area of interests includes International Trade and Investment Law, Maritime Law, Commercial law and Human Rights Law. He is a young philanthropist, vigorous individual who learns unceasingly, and a team player who also values independent thinking.
