Previous experience

I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, with professional experience in public interest law, international human rights law, and comparative constitutional law. I am the Founder and Team Lead of Lex Amica, Uganda, where I lead strategic litigation, civic education, and research initiatives aimed at promoting accountability, constitutionalism, and the rule of law.

I have worked as a Research Assistant at the Human Rights and Peace Centre (HURIPEC) and as an Assistant Editor for the East African Journal of Peace and Human Rights, where I developed strong skills in legal research, academic writing, and engagement with international and regional human rights systems.

Previously, I gained experience in legal practice and public interest litigation through roles at ABMAK Associates and the Network of Public Interest Lawyers (NETPIL). My interests lie in using international law and human rights mechanisms to advance social justice, strengthen democratic governance, and expand access to justice for marginalized communities.
