Previous experience

Ms Musonza's experience is rooted in human rights activism and civic engagement. She has facilitated and contributed to human rights trainings and dialogues focused on democratic participation, constitutional accountability, and the protection of civic space, particularly among young people. Her work consistently centres youth political engagement and the strengthening of citizen agency in contexts marked by inequality and institutional fragility.

She has also developed and contributed to advocacy-driven research projects, including a climate-focused initiative examining the intersection of environmental justice, gender, and the disproportionate impact of climate change on marginalized communities. Her broader work sits at the intersection of human rights, gender justice, and structural exclusion, with a sustained commitment to amplifying marginalized voices. Through both academic and grassroots engagement, Ms Musonza bridges scholarship and activism, grounding her work in community realities while engaging critically with systems of power.
