Previous experience
Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Pretoria. During her third year of university, she founded the African Accountability Project, a non-governmental organization dedicated to documenting atrocity crimes across Africa. This initiative has since partnered with the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, where they are collaborating to build a case against actors involved in atrocities in Sudan. Kate has published extensively, including in the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce, and has also drafted a sample indictment against President Lukashenko. Throughout her university career, she actively participated in the mooting community, competing in the Willem C. Vis Moot and the Nuremberg Moot Court Competition. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Chairperson of the Teams Coordination Committee for Africa in the Moot.
