Student Accommodation

The organisers of the 35th Christof Heyns African Human Rights Moot Court Competition are pleased to confirm that student participants will be accommodated at Lorenzo Hotels and Resorts, Abidjan, for the duration of the Competition week.

The organisers recognize the importance of providing student participants with high-quality accommodation and have made every effort to secure comfortable, well-located lodging for all registered teams.

Student Contribution

As has been the practice in previous editions of the Competition, each participating student will be required to make a modest contribution towards their accommodation costs. For the 2026 edition, this contribution is set at USD 200 per student for the entire Competition week (approximately USD 28.50 per night)

The organisers have committed to covering the difference between the student contribution and the full cost of accommodation, ensuring that all student participants benefit from the best possible facilities regardless of their institution's financial means.

Reservation Process

Registered students are not required to make any individual reservation. The organisers will manage all accommodation reservations on behalf of student participants, using the online Individual Registration Form as the basis for room allocation. Students who have completed their individual registration will automatically be included in the reservation process. Students will be notified of their specific room allocation details in due course.

Mode of Payment

Details on the payment method for the USD 200 student contribution will be communicated to participants in due course. Please monitor this page and your registered email address for further updates.

**This notice will be updated as further details are confirmed. Participants are encouraged to check this page regularly.
